Pontresina Via Maistra

This summer, for the fourth time, the Via Maistra in Pontresina will be transformed into an exhibition space for

contemporary art. The Pontresina culture commission Cultura Pontresina has invited 15 artists from Graubünden,

Eastern Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein to create works on the theme of “… Seeing through the eyes of

a stranger”. The selected artists are all highly regarded and experienced independent representatives of installation art.

Their works, in media as diverse as sculpture, video, audio, painting and photogra-

phy, are the result of profound research on the culture of the region and the history of the Engadin.
