Moments in Time and Place

The photographic works by J. Weinsheimer reflect his visual perception of the environment. The recent works were taken on his trips to the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, Italy, Austria + Switzerland.
The transition from realism to abstraction lets the viewer plunge into the visual world of the artist. By reducing complexity of the abstract shapes and colors the artist creates striking emotional and meditative moments. The eye of the artist is conciously searching the intense relationship between colors and forms in his subjects, and dissolves it in harmony and beauty. Weinsheimer’s work has been shown in various exhibitions and galleries in St. Moritz, London, Mallorca, Miami, Monaco, Berlin and Munich. In 2018 his work will be exhibited in Vienna, Paris, Gstaad and St. Moritz. His work has also been acquired by major corporate collections in Germany, Spain and United States.
