In the heart of Madulain and at the foot of the Inn, a historic Engadine barn that rooted from the two in the Engadine Cousins Gian Tumasch Appenzeller and Chasper Linard is Schmidlin was discovered as a unique art space.

It is a surprisingly different place in the upper Engadine art and Grison culture scene, young and established artists offers a presentation platform for bold faced and serious art and culture.

Whether painting and sculpture and photography through to sound installation, the premises with “willful inspirations” enchanted. We are pleased to present the first exhibition of the Stalla Madulain with Mirko Baselgia and Gianin Conrad as the main artists.
